RANDI CARMICHAEL
Hello and welcome to my portfolio. My name is Randi Carmichael and I am an experienced Maths Tutor with 15 years of experience, based in Chester. My experience includes teaching in secondary schools in the UK, but for the past 15 years I have been a Maths tutor teaching online and in person in Portugal and the UK.
Most of my students are working towards their GCSEs, but I have experience with children doing their Ks2, Ks3 and IGCSEs and also helping adults achieve the grades they need to achieve their career goals.
Education-wise, I have a bachelors degree in Mathematics and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Liverpool University.
My way of working is to tailor lessons to each student using books and past papers to help guide them through their curriculum.
I have worked with students from many different parts of the world and I have experience with students with special needs, including ADHD and autism.
Tutoring is my passion as it is the best part of being a teacher.
